STEM Kits
STEM kits encourage children to develop an interest and skills in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. These kits offer families the chance to continue hands-on exploration of STEM topics at home. They include books, DVDs, games and other interactive materials to explore basic concepts in STEM, and they are free to check out with your Palm Beach County Library System Library card!

The Counting Kit
Counting fun made simple! Introducing our colorful counting kit, designed to ignite a love for numbers in young minds. Birding Backpack
The Birding Backpack is a kit that includes everything you need to enjoy your next birding adventure, and it’s free to check out with your Palm Beach County Library System Library card! Each backpack has enough pockets for you to carry water bottles, sunscreen, hats and anything else you may need on a beautiful Florida day. Inside, you will find a high quality pair of adult binoculars, two pairs of children’s binoculars and a guide to Florida birds. Adventure awaits!

Book Clubs Made Easier
We want to make life a little easier for your book club. We have prepared “Book Club in a Bag” kits; these kits contain 10 copies of the same book for your members! Discussion guides and questions are available online in our catalog as a clickable link; this is also where you may place a hold on the kit you would like to receive. Book Club in a Bag kits are available for adult, children and teen groups. We even have titles in large print and en español, too!
