Unleash Your Creativity with Launchpad Makerspace!

Are you ready to create, play and discover? The Jupiter Branch Library is thrilled to introduce the Launchpad Makerspace, a dynamic environment where imagination meets innovation! Whether you love technology or prefer hands-on crafting, our makerspace is designed to ignite your creativity and connect you with a community of fellow makers.

What is a Makerspace?

If you’ve never heard of a makerspace before, think of it as a creative playground—a place where people of all ages can come together to experiment, learn new skills, and bring ideas to life in a supportive and inspiring setting. While many makerspaces focus on cutting-edge tech like 3D printing and coding, ours embraces a broad range of creative pursuits, from sewing and beading to stop-motion animation and light painting.

Monthly Hands-On Activities

Each month, the Launchpad Makerspace will feature new and exciting projects. Some will have a tech focus, while others will emphasize traditional crafting techniques. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

LED & Data-Tracking Bracelets – Blend technology with wearable art.
Light Painting – Use photography and long exposure to create stunning images.
Crafting & DIY Projects – Explore sewing, beading, papercraft and more!

Whether you're an experienced maker or just starting out, there’s something for everyone at the Launchpad Makerspace.

Where & When?

Throughout 2025, the Launchpad Makerspace will host events at both the Jupiter and Tequesta branches, with select programs available online. That means you can participate in person or from the comfort of your home!
