20th Annual Families Reading Together
Every year, the Palm Beach County Library System celebrates Families Reading Together! The goal of Families Reading Together is to encourage reading among children and their families regardless of age or language. This November marks our 20th year of the campaign. Reading together is the single most important way to help young children get ready to read. It helps children develop an interest in reading, as well as increases their vocabulary and general knowledge. Children who enjoy being read to are more likely to want to read on their own.
We are kicking off this year’s campaign with an event at the Norton Museum of Art on Sat, Nov 04, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Anyone presenting a valid library card from any library in Palm Beach County will receive free admission!
Additionally, the celebration continues at select branches with Safari Sue! Our friend, Safari Sue will be visiting some of our locations with a charming show filled with animal tales, magic, comedy, and adventure! All ages. (45 min.) Preregister. Don’t miss the fun!
You can find all of Safari Sue's stops here: Suzy Hammer Presents Safari Sue
