Hi, Dewey the Owl here!
I had the pleasure of visiting the Gardens Branch today. Before even heading inside, I was greeted by this awesome statue of two kids (just like me!) reading on a bench. So cute!! Once I entered the building, I was greeted by a beautiful Friends of the Library book display. I could sit there all day in these tiny, colorful shelf nooks! I then stumbled upon this super cool working clock. I have no idea how it works, but it clicks 24/7!
I then hung around outside the Children’s department for a bit before entering to find the real treasure – computers and chairs that were just my size! I love how easy it was for a little owl like me to read and get lost in a book here. Plus, I felt right at home with the frog-themed décor. After visiting the Children’s department, I decided I wanted to see what the Quiet Reading Room was all about, so I went in there. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Then, to finish my journey at the Gardens Branch, I wandered the shelves to see what book I should pick next. Then, it was time for me to go home.
Until Next time! Your favorite Library owl Dewey ❤️
