We offer a number of different resources to make our events more inclusive for the d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Every Library location is equipped with Assistive Hearing headsets that you can borrow for use during our activities. They’ll amplify what’s being transmitted from the presenters’ microphones or the room speakers.
Also, if you are d/Deaf or hard of hearing, you can request an ASL interpreter to translate for you at upcoming events. Contact the presenting branch and ask the activity coordinator to request an interpreter for you. Check out the Disability & Neurodiversity, opens a new window page of our website to read more about the activities and resources we have available.
