Adult Literacy
Did you know?
In the U.S., 22% of adults function at the lowest levels of literacy. In Palm Beach County, that’s over 70,000 adults!
Literacy is the ability to read, write and speak in a way that enables us to communicate effectively and make sense of the world. Literacy gives individuals an ability to reach their full potential by allowing them to develop valuable skills to improve their prospects and expand their knowledge.
We offer one-on-one tutoring to adults who need help with reading, writing or speaking English. Materials are provided for free and lessons are designed to meet the individual’s goals.
