Summer Volunteens

Summer will be here before you know it and the Library System is looking for VolunTeens 12-18 years of age to assist with the Summer Reading program from June to August.

If you are interested in being a VolunTeen, contact your local branch. Registration must be done in person at the youth services desk. Registration is limited.

VolunTeens register children for the Summer Reading Program, shelve books, encourage children to read, and assist with craft projects for story times. The minimum time requirement is 2-3 hours, one day a week. If you want to learn more about libraries, develop work skills for future employment, spend time that is helpful to others, and earn community service hours, be a VolunTeen!
