Families will create seascapes, using various art materials, to celebrate the sea theme of our Families Reading Together program! With permission, participants' artwork will be displayed at the Families Reading Together Reception on Nov 20. All ages. (90 min.)

Families are invited to join us for stories and skits! There is a part for everyone: behind the scenes, center stage, or as a member of the cheering audience! All ages. (90 min.)

Families will enjoy this engaging introduction to community gardening presented by Sow Share. Learn how this nonprofit organization plants the seeds "to connect people to the earth and to each other through garden education, community gardening, and resource sharing." All ages. (60 min.)

Adults and children explore the importance of using kind words and actions, and not excluding others in this ADL workshop that concludes in a song that helps participants practice skills to stand up for themselves and others when they notice exclusion and unfairness. Ages 4-6 & guardian. Limit of 18. (60 min.)
