The Tequesta Branch of the Palm Beach County Library System held a grand re-opening and open house Thursday, May 29 from 2-4pm featuring a visit from Dewey the Owl and a classical performance from a trio featuring the Tequesta branch's own Donna Block, Tequesta student shelver Carrie Collier, and Lorene Reed. The Tequesta Branch of the Palm Beach County Library System re-opened on Thursday, May 8 at 10 a.m. The branch closed on March 3, 2008 for renovations.
In addition to new carpeting and paint the branch renovations feature:
● Additional shelving to allow for more DVDs, CDs, and audio- books.
● A more user-friendly space with new lighting, refinished furniture, and comfortable seating areas.
● A new circulation desk that makes staff more accessible to patrons.
● Four Internet and word processing computers and two library catalog computers.

Branch hours are: Monday-Wednesday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Thursday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
