Looking for something enriching and fun to do this summer? Patrons of all ages are invited to join our multicultural Summer Reading Program, “Whole Wide World @ My Library,” which will run from June 9 to August 1 at all Palm Beach County Library System locations. Our program and special events will encourage
you to read about and discover people and cultures from around the world.
How to participate:
Children: Sign up at the Youth Services Desk and receive a listing of summer events, a passport reading
log, a pencil, a McDonald’s coupon, and an activity booklet. Complete 10 hours of reading to earn fun incentives.
Teens: Sign up at the Youth Services Desk for our young adult “Reading Frenzy” and receive a reading log, a canvas book bag, a pencil, and a McDonald’s
coupon. Complete 16 hours of reading and “fish” for a cool prize in the “shark tank.”
Adults: Sign up at the Reference Desk and receive a passport
reading log, a bookmark, and a coupon for a McDonald’s ice cream. Read and/or listen to five books/audiobooks and receive something special for taking this reading journey with us.
