Tailwaggers |
This group trains therapy and rescue dogs, using
positive reinforcement (ie: treats and praise.) The dogs were
beautifully behaved and very social. It really works. They went thru
the tunnel and did jumps on command. There was a huge German
Shepherd, a Scottie, some mixes: Bordie Collie, Australian Shepherd,
etc. Most from animal rescue. The trainers also talked about how to
be safe around animals. Photos taken Saturday, September
3. |

Hans Christian Andersen at
West Boynton |
Renowned storyteller Randel McGee
brings his portrayal of Hans Christian Andersen to Palm Beach
County. While the audience is captivated by one of Andersen’s
age-old favorites, Mr. McGee’s hands are quickly at work following
another of the author’s favorite pastimes, paper cutting. By the
time the tale has been told, an amazing depiction of the story (cut
from a single sheet of paper with ordinary scissors) suddenly
appears. |
