The Hagen Ranch Road Branch Library will host a computer Learning Month Tech Fair on Sun, Oct 27, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The tech “show and tell” will feature Oculus Rift Virtual Reality, Raspberry Pi computers, electronics platform Arduino and invention kit Makey Makey.

“At the Palm Beach County Library System, we understand the important role that technology plays in our society. The Computer Learning Month Tech Fair is a great opportunity for the community to have access to new technologies and gain a better understanding of how they can be used,” said Hagen Ranch Road Branch Manager Elizabeth Locke.

Originally created by the Computer Learning Foundation in 1987, Computer Learning Month is a great time for people to learn about technologies and to share this knowledge with others.

“We hope the Tech Fair will give our members a taste of what is possible. In the spirit of Computer Learning Month, we challenge everyone to come along and learn something new,” said Research Librarian Stew Wilson.

The Hagen Road Branch Library is located at 14350 Hagen Ranch Road, Delray Beach 33446.
