Description

To meet the demands of the rapidly growing West Boynton community, Palm Beach County Library System expanded the West Boynton Branch Library in 2000.  The expansion added approximately 9,700 sq. ft. of public service space, which provides room for additional and expanded services including:

• A larger Youth Services area

• A meeting room for 80 people

• A conference room

• 3 study rooms

• A large popular materials area - twice the size of the current space

• A magazine and newspaper area with comfortable chairs and a club-like atmosphere

• 15 parking spaces plus shared parking with the Son Life Lutheran Church

History of the Branch

• Opened: March 1994, 8,000 sq. ft.

• Expanded Branch opened Jan 2, 2000, 17,700 sq. ft
