Description
The Tequesta Branch, located in the
Village of Tequesta, serves its residents and a number of Martin
County residents who purchase library cards.
The library provides
book, magazines, and other material to a varied clientele. Reader
advisory services, a children's collection and adult collection are
available.
Access to the Internet is provided in the branch. The magazine collection is supplemented by the INFOTRAC
Search Bank online database, which indexes more than 1,100
periodicals and provides full-text articles from over 700. Story
Times for children are conducted year-round.
History of the Branch
- Opened: 1969, 1,691 sq. ft. leased
facility.
- Opened new library: December 4,
1995, 4,000 sq. ft.
- Remodeled in 2008 to allow for additional shelving, 2 additional internet computers
- Meeting room: Seats 15.

Our Meeting Room
has a seating capacity of 15. It can be used by the public at
night (except Tuesdays) and on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Library sponsored functions have priority in the use of this room.
Please contact the branch for availability. Application forms must
be picked up at the library and all bookings are subject to branch
manager approval.
