Description
The Okeechobee Boulevard Branch provides
traditional print resources such as books and magazines, as well as
electronic resources and audio/visual materials to library patrons.
Reference and reader's advisory services are available. A wide
variety of electronic
resources, such as the Infotrac databases and Internet access, are available to the public. An
enlarger and magnifier makes information available that would be
inaccessible.
An extensive fiction and non-fiction
collection of large print books is very popular. Special programs
and an outstanding collection round out a successful and unique
youth services department. Story Times for ages 18 month to 11
years, with age appropriate crafts and activities are held all year.
Quiet study rooms are available for the
public to use. A meeting room, seating 50 is available for local
clubs, book discussion groups and organizations.
