By Bus: Palm Tran Route #20

By Car from I-95, the Turnpike or Military Trail:  Drive east on PGA Blvd. to the traffic light at Campus Drive. The North County Government Center is on the right. Turn right on Campus Dr. Drive one block south to Fairchild Gardens Ave. (Watch for the electric sign for the Eissey Campus Theatre.) Turn right, drive half a block and turn right into the library parking lot.

By Car from Highway 1: Drive west on PGA Blvd. to the traffic light at Kew Gardens. Turn left onto Campus Drive. Drive one block south to Fairchild Gardens Avenue (watch for the electric sign for the Eissey Campus Theatre.) Turn right, drive half a block and turn right into the library parking lot.

Description

This Regional Library serves as the neighborhood library to the Palm Beach Gardens area, and as a backup resource to the other neighborhood libraries in the North County area. The library circulates a large amount of popular adult fiction, non-fiction and children's materials.

A wide variety of electronic resources, such as magazine articles, newspaper databases and Internet access, are available to the public.  Hands-on computer training for novices as well as more experienced users is available.  The library has an active children's department that offers programs to children of all ages.

History of the Branch

  • Opened: May 1975, 740 sq.ft. In Tanglewood Plaza.
  • Expanded: November 1977, 2,240 sq.ft. in Sun Building.
  • Expanded: January 1985, 6,150 sq. ft. in Corporate Park
  • Regional Facility opened: May 1995, 24,000 sq. ft. County owned building.

Meeting Room Information

The branch has a Meeting Room that holds up to 40 people and a Conference Room that holds up to 12 people. Library sponsored functions have priority in the use of this room.  It may be booked only for times when the library is open to the public.

North to Donald Ross Road, south to 45th Street, east to Lake Park, North Palm Beach and Riviera Beach; and the western unincorporated area. Also serves as a resource for referrals from Jupiter and Tequesta branches.
