This is exactly what we are excited to provide
to you with BookLetters.
BookLetters is a new service from the
Palm Beach County Library System which offers book reviews and
information on hundreds of authors, all easily accessible online. To
receive regular updates on books in special areas of interest,
simply sign up for BookLetters’ e-mail newsletter service. Reviews
of recommended books in your favorite genres will be delivered right
to your inbox.
Our longest running newsletter is
Books & Bytes. Published on the third Monday of each
month, Books & Bytes offers up-to-date news and information about the
library system and this web site. It offers profiles of our web
services and information about all our great catalogs and databases. Plus Books & Bytes provides tips
and tricks for better searching to help you locate quality
information faster and easier.
You can also sign up to receive a Calendar of Events
for your area - a listing of all the library events
happening during the month. The list is divided into adult and
children’s programming. Our events are presented free of charge and
open to all members of the public. Keep in mind that many of our
programs require pre-registration and many have limited space available, so
be sure to sign up early.
